Christopher M.
Vann
Chris Vann earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University (1990) and
his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina (1993). After
serving as a law clerk for Judge James Wynn (North Carolina Court of Appeals)
and Judge James Beaty (North Carolina Middle District), Chris went into private
practice in 1997. In 2005 he formed the Vann Law Firm, P.A.
Chris is a member of the Mecklenburg and North Carolina Bar
Associations and, as such, is licensed only to practice in North Carolina.
He is an active member of the Matthews Kiwanis Club of North Carolina.
Nancy (LaFond) Moore
Nancy Moore has been the firm administrator since 2008. She earned her
Associates Degree in Business Administration in 1983 and her Associates Degree
in Paralegal Studies in 1987. In addition to her role as office manager,
Nancy is a Commissioner with the Town of Matthews.
Latoya Brown
After earning her paralegal degree from Kings College in 2006, Latoya Brown
joined the firm as a litigation paralegal/mediation coordinator. Latoya
interned at the Gaston County Public Defender's office. She is a Notary Public in the state of North Carolina.
Paula (Trull)
Roland
Paula Roland is the firm's traffic paralegal. She received her paralegal certificate
from the American Institute of Paralegal Studies in 1996. Paula has
focused on traffic/DUI matters since 1997 and joined the firm in 2008.
